Yeah.... this may be a rather silly topic... I was thinking of needing an icon for my own portfolio website (Which I never thought much about it back then ( Read more... )

Curves or curls by themselves doesn't say wind to me. But if you had small objects along with the curves, that might do it. By objects, I mean things like petals, leaves, or feathers. Things that would naturally be blown by wind. Maybe balloons too??

Yeah, I agree, tested them out on paper and just look like... well, they're just curves & curls 8D;

I wonder if papers and pens can be blown by wind...? (I agree with the petals, leaves and feathers, they'll look nice though I dunno how to explain where those objects come from... if I'm a gardener then it'll work or if my website's name implies angel or something then yeah...)

Sorry for being picky, thanks for the suggestions though! ;)

Paper could easily be blown by the wind. I would put writing or drawings on the sheets to make it obvious they're sheets of paper though. Pens, on the other hand, wouldn't be easily blown. But if you had them with the papers, it might work. Don't apologize for being picky. It's your blog, you should be picky about what it shows.

Good idea. I'll probably stick a picture in (Since it's kind of an illustrtaion and multimedia portfolio site), yeah, maybe not the pens then =P

Gotta try testing these out soon, thanks again! ^^

Go to www.gettyimages.com and type wind. You can get some ideas from there for your logo
