I should be packing for my soon to come trip and not babbling in LJ...
Anyway, I'll rant some and come back later.
First of all fanart!!! 8D;
Female Tsuna (Genderbender!!) (From Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn!)
http://windyhurrice.deviantart.com/art/Female-Tsuna-Fem27-199689795Just a fanart on what I think Fem27 would look like. Her(?) left arm (The one on the right of the pic) looks wrong, I've corrected many times and I give up 8D;
Yuugi & Atemu! (From Yu-g-oh!)
http://windyhurrice.deviantart.com/art/Heart-Desu-200926885?q=gallery%3Awindyhurrice&qo=1My brother actually said it looks narcissist. Huh? 8D;
I simply don't have patience to sit and colour it in the way I used to, so you can say they're rushed work? For those that do lots of colouring in CG, where does your patience come from? I always get annoyed when I'm done with my colour bases and never want to continue on anymore! 8D; (Which is why all of my stuff are always unfinished) My eyes and hands get really tired staring at the PC screen all day (In worst cases I get severe sore headaches that I just wish to get a hammer or something and slice it off that-kind-of-feeling) just to colour those sections in which your dumb magic wand can't colour in for me - I do it manually.
This is why I sometimes like traditional work....
And speaking of traditional work I still can't find my damn camera. If only my phone can take pictures properly.... stupid scanner is colourblind! (It's neon pink, NEON, not BABY pink. Stupid scanner doesn't know how to read colours.)
For my brother's B-day I bought him the Zelda: Spirits track game (Since we held off to wait for prices to drop in Amazon) and Professor Layton: The Curious Village (I've always want to try these, their prices hardly drop as if knowing you'll definitely buy them!)
He loves them, which is good, especially since he didn't really celebrate it much, it was probably the only physical gift he had for this year's B-day....
Despite that I bought it for him I still get my fair share of playing them XD;
I'm loving Professor Layton (Puzzles galore!), have yet to try out the Zelda one.
Has anyone heard of an anime called 'The Legend of the Legendary Hero'? I've wanted to see it, but not sure if it's good or not.
Have to finish translations before I leave - does anyone know much about the Ooku? (Japanese ancient era) I wish the English wikipedia would say more.
I really want to draw more fanart of random series, don't understand where this sudden urge came from. I really should stop it and do more important things....
Last art, just expressions on one of my OCs, not really that pretty so there's no need to comment if you have nothing to comment =)
http://windyhurrice.deviantart.com/art/25-Expressions-Loki-201045893It's a good excuse to practice on expressions and refer back to how your characters would normally act.
It may loook like I drew with biro (Or not) but it's done in SAI.
I LOVE SAI!!!! I love its brush/pens for line art - its pentool is quite similiar to Fireworks which I love so much, unlike in Illustrator, its pen tool is pure pain for me. I wish for a good vector program that can be as free as this pen tool. If only Fireworks weren't completely web-based and is good for print....
I've been experimenting with the colouring in Sai too, it's good if I decide to colour in a non-cell-shaded way, but colouring is still best in Photoshop.
Ok, back to packing and ironing....
