omg you guys. this episode is THE REASON why i heart this show so much. it's cracky and fun, but with high stakes (sort of) involved as well. and there is so much slashable content, it's truly absurd.
not enough morgana, because man, she is hot.
i'm not sure i like gwen being arthur's conscience/encouragement, frankly, because i feel like arthur should know when he's done something right, and it feels a tiny bit condescending on gwen's part if she has to go, 'you gave the people back their money! good puppy!' but this may be because arthur/merlin slashiness is resurfacing like crazy and as much as i like gwen, it cannot compare to MERLIN AND ARTHUR'S EPIC LOVE.
giles should not be so easily taken in though. i mean. seriously. he and the troll did the nasty. that's just... ugh. dnw. i didn't think they were going to go there, but they totally did.
sir leon is a hotass.
and merlin/arthur! omg the hugging. omg hiding under the bed and alerting arthur with a fake scary voice! omg the ohsoromantic scene when arthur warns merlin to leave camelot! omg the fake death! i so wanted the antidote to be mouth-to-mouth from your social inferior (read: merlin omg) but that wasn't to be.
oh, and the preview for next week! OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS. i hate you, you evil witchfinder, why are you threatening wee, adorable merlin! and arthur carrying merlin away, as merlin screams, "you're a liar!" (even though he is telling the truth about merlin being a sorcerer)! i may die a thousand deaths next week, oh the drama. and that's right gwen, arthur had better stop it! (that's the other thing that annoys me, gwen should not have to tell arthur to do something, he should KNOW to try and save his only true friend.) i hope there are lots of long looks between arthur and merlin as merlin's impending death draws nearer. EEEE. so excited.
