Someone knocked on my hotel door. Straining, I got my breath under control.
“Who is it?”
Wiggling my hips earned a choked whimper from the trembling body beneath me. Teeth sunk into my shoulder in retaliation.
“Me,” said the unhelpful voice of Rick Nash. “We’re going to get something to eat, you wanna come?”
“Nah, I’ll pass.”
“You sure?” Rusty; it’s unsurprising he’s with Rick.
“I’m sure.”
“Well, alright. Goodnight, Sergei.”
“’night,” I called. There was a pause, some snickers; then Rick’s voice floated through the door again, sing-song.
“G’night, Nik!”
The man beneath me groaned in humiliation.
“…g’night, Rick.”
