Vet Fun....
Took Dannyl to the vets today as he is looking very unhappy and he is still on 410g in weight.... the same weight as when I first rescued him. he also has terrible in growing nails which needed clipping.. he's now on Metacam and Ceporex in the hope that it will clear his chest up and perk him up so he'll put on some more weight. the poor guy hates the orange stuff and if you don't get it right in his mouth it make him look like her dribbling orange goo.. which is always delightful.
In other rat news intros with Rothern (now balless) with Akkarin and Dannyl are not going well as Rotherns aggression is still there... it has however only been three weeks and might well take some more time to calm him down... I might try him in with the two rescue girls though to see if that makes a better combination and then hopefully they can all live happily in the freddy! the other down side is now instead of being quite friendly and handleable he freaks out if you touch him his whole body jumps as if he hasn't expected it... and he never comes up to the bars to greet you anymore.... so I am a little worried as to what has happened.
In other news work is going well i'm still writing my statements to see if I will stay on the same section and i am meeting with the room inspector again tomorrow to look over it. I have started my radio support training which is quite fun, calling ambulances and the media, doing police checks etc.... its nice to be learning new skills.
Also in other fun news... I get paid tomorrow!!!!!! woohooo that reminds me tomorrow morning I NEED to pay the water bill!
