oh my god, first off, what - you are incredibly good to me, algj;ldf. ♥ and, please, you have the talent to write something a hundred times better, truer, more deeply felt and eloquently stated than this. don't cheat yourself. :-*

(it´s funny, everytime i think about your writing, remembering, "no, it can´t be that good as i remember, there has to be a catch" and then you write things like this and i go "wait, it´s always better than i think". it´s like a movie you love but are afraid to watch again because it can´t possibly be as good as you remember but when you watch it again, it´s different, more amazing and impossible to pin down)okay, that's it. this is the best feedback i will probably ever get from anyone. I LOVE YOU. AND DON'T DESERVE YOUR COMPLIMENTS OKAY. ♥ ♥ ♥ gosh. let me just tell you that the sentiment is entirely reciprocated ( ... )

no, no, if you only knew how happy your writing makes me. (oh, if you only knew, how i think, "if this were a printed book i would pay fortunes to read it").

I LOVE YOU, TOO, AND YES, YOU DO DESERVE IT -DON´T YOU KNOW YOU ARE MY FAVOURITE INDIE MOVIE? XD

i think Cesc, by being Cesc, unsettles Joaquin -and Joaquin is the kind of boy who tries to seduce what makes him nervous, what he doesn´t understand, like saying "ha ha, i get you down, too", so it can be harmless. and Cesc involuntary makes everyone around him begin to question things, and that doesn´t go well with Joaquin, he loves to keep things simple.

Joaquin, on the other hand, is like an ancient statue to Cesc; rationally he thinks, "it´s just a statue, it can do nothing for me, it can do nothing to me, but oh look, it´s so beautiful and the sun falls on its shoulder blade in such an angle that..." it´s quite mysterious, to him, too ( ... )

someday we need to write a story together. &hearts

also, oh my god, yes a thousand times to joaquin seducing what makes him nervous, what's incomprehensible to him - that's perfect. and the cesc part too; i love imagining cesc as a nineteen year old who is, for his age, incredibly talented and mature - but at the same time, not entirely nice or rational. he still has fits of temper, vindictive moods, petulance. (and this is where their two personalities collide - joaquin is interested/annoyed by cesc because they are so different, but also because they do share that mean, stubborn streak, only cesc hides it better.) if cesc were just this really lovely, ridiculously kind young man, i don't think cesc/joaquin would work at all. and cesc doesn't want to accept that he shares anything with joaquin, really, but he has to come to terms with it - and i tried to show that with cesc coming to terms with spain, with flamenco, with realizing that those ships are antiquated and out of date, but still there, still so strong ( ... )

i know, seriously! obviously it was ice cream crack of immense potency and quality, yes? really, though, the amount of amazing stories written by everyone else has been staggering. i am still trying to recover from the overload of cesc/joaquin that was ss.

Man. This is not a pairing I really like normally, but this is incredible. I really like the dynamic here -- how it starts with them not really liking each other and just hooking up, and then over the course of the fic it becomes something more, and that something makes it ultimately untenable. You do a great job with the development of their relationship here.

"What does it feel like to never stop underachieving?"

Joaquín thrusts harder and Cesc silences, bites his lip enough to draw blood. There's a thin half-curve of red-brown on the pillow the next morning, stiff and daring in the sunlight, a constant taunt. He keeps it there, wants Cesc to see it, wants to remind him of where he was last night, body shifting beneath Joaquín's own: naked and submissive, powerless except for his words, words, only words, and they hardly speak the same language anymore.

That is my favorite part. So much contained in there, about their relationship and both of them individually. Also, hot. ♥

♥! Thank you so much, it's lovely to hear that from you of all people. I've always thought writing these two would be sort of difficult, given the complete lack of, well, actual evidence (beyond one (1!!!) picture). But I had a blast, actually, playing around with both Cesc and Joaquin having problems with the other - Joaquin with the idea of caring for someone in a way that has nothing to do with sexual attraction, and Cesc with the idea of accepting that, yes, he and Joaquin do have basic things in common, that he has to reconcile England and Spain, all of that.

That was, I think, the second section I wrote, and I'm really pleased you liked it! :-*

I haven't read this yet, but I'd just like to say that last time I checked the friendslist, which I could swear was only half an hour ago, this entry had like, 6 replies. AND NOW THERE ARE OVER 90. Fandom will never cease to amaze me.

I shall return to fangirl relentlessly over your writing and the insightful comments of everyone else. Until then...*swished cape dramatically and cuts a Z with my rapier*

Booyah! Let's all commemorate this momentuous comment achievement of mine with PELVIC THRUSTS!

Heyhey, not to bring up even more distasteful insanity but you've seen Abbichicken's most recent post here right?

It's so cute how Arsene's jealous that Alex Ferguson's attention's been diverted away from the halcyon days of their own hatred-filled boudoir romps. *stands strong with the Alex/Arsene ship of painanddoomandtrauma* You portuguese spitfires can't take the sky from me, damnit.

i wouldn´t count on the "insightful" as much as on the "totally cracky ".
