"Didnt want to live without her"--again. i laughed when you said, "he didn't sleep." that is totally NOT shawn's character. just write about twilight if you love it so much.]

A male character watching a female character sleep is common in romance literature to the point of cliché, as is the feeling that one would not want to live without said female character.
And, if we're going to be truly nit-picky about this, Edward made it quite clear throughout book two that he would be more than happy to live without Bella in an effort to protect her.
