I was quite proud of that line myself. And I really think they have a bond there.
Well, that and the use of slaves to dominate the world through trickery and deceit.
Come on, like Santa's not really trying to buy the favor of EVERYONE in the world? You know he is.
That and making us mindless sheep who are slaves to our greedy desires.
And we don't even blame him for the violence and pettiness that Christmas brings out in so many of us! No, he gets credit for the *good* things we do!
I'm telling you, he's got a devious plan and it's very well thought out.
Something needs to be done about this guy before he succeeds and we're all stuck in an endless rerun of Hallmark channel Christmas specials.

And for serious. I'm in agreement with you on the old fat guy. I mean. Heck. He even makes people put out milk and cookies. And honestly, how many rotten kids out there have you really heard of getting coal or hit with switches? He's stalking us sure.. but I think he just notes the bad kids to blackmail into his servitude later since they would be more likely to rebel when he takes over.

Honestly, I'd prolly be a lot more tolerant of the season if everyone didn't go INSANE over it. I just burn out on it really fast.
Like, back in SEPTEMBER when the stores started decorating. >.<
He's definitely plotting world domination. I VOTE WE RALLY THE ELVES AND OVERTHROW HIS REGIME BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Oh yeah. Definitely. I am not against the whole thing really. I mean, I love giving people stuff, and xmas is my great excuse to do so time. Sometimes it's stuff I've hoarded for someone since I randomly stumbled on it in like.. march... >.>
But really. My mum loves the season, but she's so fanatical about doing everything that she just stresses out. However when I tried to recommend cutting something out she says she likes it all... it just makes no sense to me. I mean, what's the point of trying to fit in so much because you 'like it' if you're so stressed you won't actually enjoy it?
Not that I'd ever go crazy over it, but I think I'd certainly not be left with such an icky feeling over it.
Though I must admit, for me /cynicism/ over it/anything is actually fun *cough*

I dunno. I like it, I just can't stomach four months of obsessing over it. I'm the kind that likes to decorate a week before and take it all down the day after. *shrugs*
Plus, well, I've had some bad experiences with the whole 'Christmas Spirit' schtick, so yeah. That bit I will NEVER really get onboard with.
