Logically speaking, the back of a Chinese restaurant is actually a pretty good place for the occasional weary freedom fighter to crash out. Anyone coming in looks like they're either going to work or having a meal, and it's easy enough to say the cots and etc are for the owner, should anyone have any reason to go back behind the kitchens, which few people do.
This particular safehouse, in the delightfully named Golden Dragon, happens to be in Fairfax, VA - close enough, if you'll pardon the pun, for government work, but far enough away from DC to be safe, if anyone is ever safe. (They really aren't.)
West and Claire enter said establishment from a side door; no one looks twice at them, because...well, most of the people who work there don't really work there, if that's not unclear. The area behind the kitchens is small, but clean and as welcoming as a row of cots and a small sink get.
"She said she'd be here by 2 or so." West is possibly grinning a lot here, he really doesn't get to see Alessandra as much as he likes. Usually just when something big is happening; it's worth considering that he considers Claire's presence 'something big.' "As soon as she can get away."
You know. From Homeland Security. Which is not a dangerous place for her to be at all.
