I can has Linux!
Whee! At this moment, I am posting from my Fedora 7 Linux install :) I'm seriously new at this, but I did manage to figure out some things. I did figure out how to get my machine to dual boot Linux and XP (different hard drives). darph_bobo had most of what I needed, but apparently XP needed a few more lines in Grub. I also copied my bookmarks and preferences from work to home. As an aside, bookmarks.html and prefs.js are universal - just copy them and paste them over the existing files. Instant update ;)
Today's challenge was trying to install Neverwinter Nights under Linux. I've hit a few snags, but some searching revealed that part of my problem is missing files, and the other part is needing to update my linux install. So we'll see in a few days whether or not I've fixed my problems :) Why a few days...well, 335 packages for ~800MB takes a really long time to download over dial-up.
Maybe by then I'll have gotten my new userpic too.
