He knocked multiple times on the door. He was drenched head to toe. His jeans were glued to his legs by force and his hoodie didn’t do such a great job of covering his head.
He had run over to her house. Funny thing, they lived half an hour away from each other.
She opened the door, a crusty, old romance paperback novel in hand. “Kyuhyun, why are you-”
He extended his hand for hers. “Come.”
“No!” She answered stubbornly, her foot almost out the door. “Get inside. What did you do? Walk?”
“I’m trying to prove something, Yuri.” His voice was stuffed up from his exhaustion.
She stared at him for a passing moment and finally left the house in what she was wearing after he had promised her a cup of bittersweet coffee.

“It’s fucking cold!” Yuri swore through the rain.
Even through the misty shower, she saw Kyuhyun give her that eerie look.
“Potty mouth,” he grumbled, pointlessly shaking his head from the heavy drops of rain. “I’m doing you a favour. Staying locked up in that house is not healthy and you’ve never appreciated the rain. Those books are nothing compared to reality.”
She smiled. “See, that’s where you’re wrong.”
He smirked. “Yeah?”
Yuri grabbed his damp collar and said to him. “It kind of went like this.”
“The part where you nearly choke me?” Kyuhyun chuckled.
“No, the part where the male antagonist kisses his girlfriend in a thundershower.”
