let's go and watch the sunrise
He's woken up by his mobile. He groans, throwing an arm over his eyes to block the light out, reaching out with his hand to grab his mobile. Moving his arm a little, he takes a glance at the caller id. He rolls his eyes when he sees who it is.
“What do you want?” He grumbles into the phone.
“Good morning to you too. What are you doing?”
“Well, I was sleeping until you rudely called me at -” he looks at the clock “- 5:30? Why are you calling me at 5:30 in the morning?”
Taehun laugs. “It's not that early.”
“It is!”
“It is not. Now drag your lazy ass out of bed, we're going out.”
“We? Correction: you're going out.”
“No, I believe we're going out.”
“I prefer staying in my bed, thank you.”
“You don't.”
“I do.”
“Kwanghee, just come with me.”
“Leave me alone, I want to sleep.”
--
“It's been a while since I watched the sunrise.”
Taehun grins. “So you're glad you dragged your lazy ass out of bed?”
“No, it's still too early.” Kwanghee looks away when he sees Taehun pout. Taehun makes a whining noise, which only makes Kwanghee ignore him more.
“Kwanghee...Just admit you're glad you didn't miss this.”
“I'm not admitting any-” He sighs when he catches a glimpse of Taehun pouting. “Alright, I'm not regretting it too much. But it's still too early.”
--
They lean on the railing, the reason for coming there long forgotten.
“Why do you always take me out somewhere?”
Taehun looks out over the city, thinking of a proper answer. “Because you would lay around in bed otherwise?”
Kwanghee huffs, pushing Taehun away from him.
“Alright, I'm just joking. I don't know really. I just like hanging out with you.”
It's silent, Kwanghee looking away in embarrassment. “Stop joking around, no one voluntarily hangs out with me.”
Moving closer, Taehun casually slings an arm around Kwanghee's shoulders. “That's because you whine too much, and I'm the only one who can handle that.”
--
“Wow, it's beautiful.”
Taehun looks at the way the sun illuminates Kwanghee's face. “I know, you're beautiful.”
Kwanghee raises an eyebrow, seeing Taehun stare at him. “You're blind,” he says, trying to move away from Taehun. But he doesn't really make an effort, actually loving the feel of Taehun's arm. And inwardly he's grinning, feeling like the most special person on earth.
After some pushing and pulling, he finally gives in and wraps an arm around Taehun's waist.
“You're not that bad yourself.”
