I forgot to tell you guys this:
On one of my last days of clinic in the rotation just past, there was a guy at the end of the day, and as I was doing his exam etc I noticed a book in his pocket. I ask him what he's reading, and he pulls a paperback out of his cargo pocket.
I glance at the cover, and can't think why the name David Weber sounds so familiar.... until underneath the title in large letters, where JOHN RINGO is emblazoned.
Before I can stop myself, I actually say out loud "Oh John Ringo, No!"
And my patient just blankly stared at me.
