I'm getting that feeling again. The one that you get when you forgot to do something really important, but you can't remember what that thing is. Its just a sinking feeling that won't go away until you've gone step by step through everything you did the day before, and the day before that, and the day before that. It's hard looking at friends who are traveling the world and earning money while they do it, all while I'm still stuck in academia and and a part-time wage-slave job to pay rent. Makes me wonder what they did that I didn't do, what opportunities they took that I either didn't or just completely missed the memo on. Besides graduating on time. Hell, I just want to know how come people my age (and younger!) can have dogs, be in college classes and work, and when I trial one for a week, I have to give it back because I don't have time to give it something of a quality existence outside of the crate! How do these people give their pets a quality life?!

By the by, I kinda know you through Simon a few years ago...found some old bookmarks that I forgot about and stumbled upon your site. Just thought I'd add my two cents since this is something I can actually relate to.

Thanks. Its good to know that there's someone out there who hears me.

Which of Simon's friends, if you don't mind my asking? Did I actually meet you or have you just heard of me, or did we simply talk online?

I'm his ex from high school and I only talked online to you, maybe like twice or something. I still remember that desktop he made with everyone on it and Donkey too, whatever that was for...that was a long time ago, and I'm an old fart with a leaky memory.

As for Si and me, I don't talk to him anymore.
