So the neighbor with the "band" is finally practicing new songs! Covers of songs that are already popular. Right now they're playing The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army". They get points for picking a cool song, at least. I love the bass line.

It's Monday.

My neighbor's metal band has been "practicing" for over an hour already. Not only have they started early, they apparently have louder amps now, judging from the way I can feel the bass through the house.

There is something immensely satisfying about calling the police on your loud neighbors. Especially at 2:30 in the morning.

It's 2 PM on Monday afternoon.

Guess what my neighbor is doing? If you guessed "practicing his horrible music with his band" you get a cookie!

... I'm starting to vaguely understand the lyrics now. That, or his amps are just louder today than usual.

He's 'singing' again. And yes, it's the same song being repeated.

One of the neighbors is playing music so loud that I can hear it in the computer room (on the home comp because Shukaku is being fussy) as if I had the speakers turned up in front of me.

It is so loud, that I can hear the music though closed windows and an alley, since it's the house on the next street over and not like, a neighbor right next door ( Read more... )

One of my neighbors -- actually, probably one of the neighbor boys -- has a new drum set. He's been playing it. And I can hear it. And all I can think is: "He probably played Rock Band and is trying to play in real life."
