Olivier Mira Armstrong
Here's one of my favourite female characters in Fullmetal Alchemist:
Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong
She is charged with leading Briggs' Fortress, a colossal wall situated extremely far north that protects Amestris from the neighbouring country of Drachma. She wields a sword and pretty much kicks her younger brother's ass (yes, that will be Major Alex Louis Armstrong to you and I!) with it. She is shrewd and aggressive, proficient in both military strategy and physical combat. Her subordinates, some of whom are very skilled fighters in their own right, hold her in high regard.
In other words, she can be quite the cold bitch but damn, I love her! LOL.
