I signed the papers this morning, so we're ready to announce OFFICIALLY that WinchestMidwest will be held this year at the Hilton Homewood Suites on the westside of Madison Sept 28th - 30th, 2012. Today is the last day for hotel registration to take advantage of the $59 per night room fee!!

I just called to make my hotel reservation and they told me it was going to be $99/night when the website says $69. Anyone else have that problem?

ETA: Got a call this morning (29 May) and there'd been a typo. It's correctly listed as $69 now.

While we had uber nice hotel rooms, and free breakfast last year, lack of drunken revelry seems to be what was the biggest complaint.   So poll time...

Poll HotelI need a general head count before I start calling around.  We have to fill all our rooms to keep the cost of the meeting room down.  We'll see how the economy is affecting hotel costs.

We need a minimum of 10 rooms rented at the hotel to keep our conference room rate or we cannot afford the room.  If you find a cheaper rate for the other days just cancel the extra day, not the entire stay.  We're currently renting two rooms ourselves to keep the room number up to 10.  You need to stay with WinchestMidwest for Friday and Saturday
