Thirty-sixth bite || ACTION "Sugar plum.... bat"
*Conrad had just sent in a letter to 'Santa Claus'. He felt oddly compelled to, but he had just turned to walk out of the park, only to poof into his bat form unexpectedly.
Here or there in the snow, you might catch sight of something red hopping up and out of the snow, only to plop back into it. Yes! It was a bat you saw. Conrad still isn't used to flying, and he wasn't going to try during the winter. Did bats even FLY during winter? Or were they even out during winter? He'd have to read up on that.
You might catch sight of him in the park, in town, or on your street, trying to maneuver and hop his way through the snow back towards his house, squeaking here or there in frustration*
