The Holiday season again?
At least it'll be different this year. Not the best place to have it, but I suppose it will do.

*Because all the other times, Conrad spent it in his small apartment usually. Sometimes he'd have his mother over, or spend it with few choice friends, but this is all headcanon here. BUT, he might as well spiff up the house a little with some decorations. On the inside, not on the outside. If he were to spend his Christmas alone with his droned family then, well... that's how it was going to be.
SO, you may find him doing the following at night:
A. He's in the store, trying to reach for some boxed garland on a hiiiigh shelf. He isn't quite tall enough to reach it, and he already has a bag of decorations in his other arm. So Conrad reaches up, pursing his lips and ballooning his cheeks as he gets on his tip toes to try and reach it.
B Conrad is walking down the street with his bags of decorations, and a nice jingle collar or Pratchett. He jingles a little as he walks down the street, humming to himself*
