The rest of the story...
Alright, so as I mentioned I'd explain what happened. I had thought I should check with a professor, but Susan says I'm too insanely 'Rules are rules' for anyone's pleasure, so I should shut it and just speak up.
Here's what happened... I was on my way from potions back to the common room to do my study time when I happened to be up on the seventh floor by that statue of the gargoyle, the one rumoured to be guarding Dumbledore's office, and I saw Summerby sitting there with his trunk and that really annoying pet cat of his, (the one who bites all our toes whilst we're sleeping... bloody little ...), and he was crying pretty hard. I was going to go over and see if he'd been expelled, but I couldn't as his mum came storming out from behind the gargoyle and grabbed him up, also crying, and stormed them off out of the castle.
After herbology, my last lesson of the day, I came back to the common room and had a moment to sit and look over today's Prophet, and I was sad to notice Summerby's father in the list of current casualties. He's an Auror at the ministry and apparently died on the job.
I thought you all might like to know, as I know my mum will probably shite bricks when my father owls her. I just hope I'm not the next to be removed from school...
