Ahah. I was getting thoroughly confused by DreamWidth's crossposting form, because the form has half a dozen visible fields, which are then hidden with JavaScript. Since I was running noScript, they didn't hide. And left me wondering what they all did.

With the JavaScript running, it all became trivial!
