Memphis, part 3

So, I woke up and Brittany and I decided to pioneer the city bus system. Thankfully, Chad got home while I was in the shower so that stopped that. He had to go back to work and Brittany and I waited around for him to get back so we could all go downtown. He was feeling kind of crummy when he got back so Brittany and I went to Memphis Pizza Cafe on our own. Delicious. I had seriously the best Vegetarian pizza ever. Dewey's Edgar Alan Poe is pretty good but the crust here was so thin it was like a crisp almost.

We got back and decided to go out so we got our gay on. I had on my lovely going out outfit plus Brittany and Chad loaded me up with eyeliner, glitter, and eye shadow. Then, instead of actually going out we just went to a place right by the tracks aptly named Tracks. We had some cheese dip and some drinks and then went back to let Chad go to bed.

Then we went off to Metro, a gay bar. Brittany and I met Nadya, the queen from Wednesday, there and watched a pretty good show. At least it would blow any northern show out of the water. They had a peculiar thing there called beer bust. You paid $5 when you walked in the door and could drink has much bud light as you can put down between then and midnight. Amazing. After the show, Brittany got us real Walk Me Down Jesuses. They ran out of hurricane glasses so they served it in the shaker. So, Brittany and I were dancing with our cocktail shakers in hand it was great.

Then, I became a mess. The best part of the night was when Nadya looked at me and said, "Girl, you better stop crying yo' glitter's running." I don't even know why I was crying is the worst part. Oh well, we all need a drunken cry every so often.

I'd write more but I'm starting to feel sick again. So, its back to bed for me.
