yes yes! wednesday it is! I'm full of things that i want to do, but i'm not sure how much of it is actually possible. But yes, i am definetly coming! I'm so excited!

It opens at 10 am and we can either start our day there and then make our way downtown or we can start our day downtown and make our way there after lunch. I have reservations for lunch at 12:30 already at this fabulous place i think you'll just LOVE, but it's a surprise, so... hah. ^_^ I might suggest if you want to spend a lot of time at the museum, that we get an early jump on the day downtown and then to lunch and we'll go to the museum until it closes or you want to go. And you want to see the Museum of Natural History, not Museum of Modern Art, The Met or the Guggenheim? It's your day babe, i love any of these places.

and too speaking of which, what time do you anticipate arriving here and where shall we meet and if you want to hit the museums, do you have your ID from OCCC? You'll need it, you get a discounted admission....

well eileen is dropping me off at the train station on her way to work.I'll get to hoboken by 7:45 and then I'll hop on a bus and make my way to port authority.
I'm also seeing if there is a bus here in walden ( i heard somewhere that there was) that can take me to port easier.

and I like the idea of being downtown first then lunch then mueseum . I have my id and all. I also want to have you show me things that you had wanted to. Think we have time for everything?

hell ya. You can trade on the train at Seacacus for Penn Station, instead of going into Hoboken and then getting a bus. Just get your train ticket to NY Penn station (Destination 000 on the ticket machine). I think that some of the cheaper local bus options require monthly fare commitment, in otherwords, you can only ride if you've bought up a month's worth of rides or a pass... tho they might not be, i can't say for certain. I know that there was a commuter van/bus line that was trying to get started, definitely if you can find info try and check it out. If you're taking the 6:24 from Middletown, that puts you at Penn Station around 10 to 15 after 8-- if you're taking the earlier train (6:08?) then you'd be probably there even earlier... i am coming from the other side of the river since i am up with friends over the break so i get into NYC around 8:40, but there is a borders within Madison Square Garden, just topside out of NY Penn where you can wait for me... and then we can start our day from there. works perfectly for me! I do have to be home wednesday night though. I work early in the morning and my anxiety still can't really take me being away from home too long. But there are many many late trains and I don't care what time i arrive home, as long as i get there, even if it's the wee hours of the morning. i love train rides. they relax me and settle me down. and going into hoboken will be sort of surreal for me.
