Finally got around to getting pics of Ryan off the camera onto the computer. So I thought I'd share

I had my baby on Friday. We decided on Ryan Michael for his name. He was 8 lbs, and 22 inches long.

Had my ultrasound today. Everything was right on track. The baby weighs 1 1/2 lbs. And it's gonna be a boy.

Name suggestions? Anyone, anyone... Bueller?

He was all smiles going in to the hospital and all smiles coming out. Everything went fine. The doctor sent the thing to Pathology to figure out what it is. The nurse in the Post-Op Recovery Unit said all the nurses were fighting over who was going to hold him before and after the surgery.

Called my OB. I have an appointment on June 14th at 11 am. They'll confirm then. It feels a million years away. I just want to know ( Read more... )

Have you ever traveled by train/bus with young children? Like infants (under a year old). If so how was seating handled? Looking at a couple things via Google it's obvious that trains/busses don't have seat belts, so that would make a car-seat impossible. Are you just expected to hold the baby the whole time? So my sister had her baby at around 11 this morning, via C-Section. A little girl. 8 lbs. 10 oz.'s 20 1/2 in.'s long. (apparently that half inch is super important).
