I'm somewhat disappointed by the lack of slash

So I finally caved in and watched the first three episodes of Merlin and I'm honestly seeing more chemistry between Merlin and Gwen than I am between Merlin and Arthur... Heck there was more chemistry between the real Helen and George (in The Dragon's Call) then I'm seeing for M/A. Thus far all I'm seeing is vague hints at a grudging friendship. I guess some of the dialogue can maybe be misconstrued as possibly slash-friendly, but that's really it.

*shakes head* I'm a bit let down.
