It’s afternoon by the time you are finish and clean up.

Either take out the 'are' or add 'ed' to 'finish' and 'clean'.

Other than that, wow. Just...dude. Is Christmas really like that where you live? This was really cool. You described things awesomely, and I really felt like I was there. Our Christmas's are never like this. Too cold. No beaches. Crap humidity.

Fixed. It's about an hours drive from where I live, and yeah mostly it's like that. Although it's hot and sticky, hence the storms.

I have never seen snow...I'm guess you would have a white Christmas over there?
