Summer
I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do this summer with that someone special. Most activities included a lake, or tubing down the river with some drinks. I haven't done the latter since my teens.
I want to stay in on rainy days and have late breakfast. When it's too hot, too tired from swimming, cool drinks and movies inside.
Music and reading. Ice cream. Popsicles. Random singing. Smoothies. Iced coffee. Quiet daydreaming. Marco. Sushi. Underwater cuddles. Barbeques. SPF 35. Coolers. Brightly-coloured towels on sand. Polo. Bonfires. Stargazing. Marshmallows.
This song would play when we were driving in his car, My Summer Girl. We'd always smile. "That's me!"

I want it to last, but I make the most of the time we have. I try to. There'd be nothing worse than thinking we have the rest of our lives when we might not even have the summer. Right?
