Will Blaschko Photo-A-Day
Yesterday for my conflict transformation class, we took a hike up to the top of Black Mountain, a "mountain" that is about 15 minutes from campus. We were greeted with a rainbow created by the sun and clouds (not a drop of rain to be seen), these 4 scavenger birds circling, and a beautiful sunny day. We talked about issues, and the effects that nature has (or could have) on the peace-building process, and how it helps relieve tension and breaks down some of the walls that confine us normally in our material worlds. There are many, many more beautiful pictures, this is just the one I grabbed first. The trees are a beautiful fall rainbow, and there are a few pictures of the class as well. Overall, it made my normally unbearable Mondays quite pleasant.
The Black Mountain Hike pictures! All these were taken with my 18-55mm Nikkor lens. It's so versatile and tough (I don't mind bringing it on hikes, because I know it can survive) it's amazing!
