Today, I took my first trip to my dentist's office since apparently 1994. My old dentist's son is now the head dentist. I described my toothache and he took a look inside and said, "Well, this big hole in your tooth would explain that." He also found another cavity on the other side. He did a temporary filling on my holey tooth and said it was REALLY close to needing a root canal, but he's going to try and save it. I'm also going in for a cleaning on Sept. 1st.
Mind you, I went to a Sears Dental in Milwaukee about four years ago to get wisdom teeth pulled, so my teeth have been checked within the past few years. Just not thoroughly cleaned. I think I've kept pretty good care of them if there's only two cavities (I've never had a cavity before in my 25 years of life).
So, needless to say, this moving back home idea is becoming a better plan as the weeks go by. I'm getting used to the thought and although I'm not in love with it, naturally. Dental bills will be another addition to the pile. I'm thankful that I've never actually been late with any bills. I've always paid them on time (even though I did go under once), especially rent. I'm sending my August rent check in the mail tomorrow. With my September rent check shall be my contractually-obligated 60-day notice of lease non-renewal. Only three more months left before I won't have to worry about being buried in bills for a while. And I get my $800 deposit back. Whew.
future,
