Today I learned that a wonderful woman I used to work with, Linda Kennedy, is dead. She was smart and dedicated and she loved her dog and she cared about poor people.  A lot.  When I knew her, she'd already had breast cancer for a couple of years, and it had just metastasized to her bones.  After six years of living with cancer, she is gone.  She
