Manga✨
It's been a while since these came out, but I finally got around to reading them recently!
I can't believe Yona is already at volume 41! O__O It feels like the story is finally approaching its climax though, what with everyone working together for a big battle against the Kai kingdom, and Yona and Hak finally being an actual couple. And I'm glad the four dragons are actually getting to do something again, since they didn't appear much in the previous volumes... I feel like I can't say much more about this volume without spoiling the whole story, but... anyway, it's awesome and I can't wait for the next volume!
I could say the same about Natsume Yuujinchou, since this volume is pretty much one big ongoing story (as opposed to episodic chapters) and it's not concluded by the end of the volume... and the next one isn't coming out until fall 2024!? I had to double-check if I read the year right in that announcement T_T Oh well, I suppose it'll give me a good excuse to re-read this volume again before the next one comes out, because I'll probably have forgotten some details by then.
I wasn't a big fan of the fortuneteller/occult club characters (like Clara and Shinobu) that appeared in the previous volume, so I was hoping that they would just be one-shot characters, but it seems like they're actually the main focus of this whole volume... ^^; I'm still not quite sold on them, but maybe the next volume will convince me, as it looks like there's some big revelations in store... I sure wasn't expecting Matoba to show up, that suddenly made things a lot more interesting. He has some... interesting fashion choices in this volume xD I wonder who did his hair XD
I also got the first volume of the Atri manga! Of course I already know the story since I read the visual novel, but the artist is different, so it's really interesting how they adapted the story into a manga. Atri looks so adorable! Although I feel that she looks even younger in the manga than in the VN, which could be slightly awkward for the rest of the story, since it's romance. ^^;; (All-ages romance, though!) I'm not sure if an English version of the manga is going to come out, but it might eventually considering that the anime is coming next year... I hope I'll get to work on it! >w< .
