Ikebukuro

On Sunday it was rainy, so mimi91chan and I decided to do a shopping day in Ikebukuro, since that's mostly indoors. I didn't expect to buy much myself, but it was fun hunting for all the stuff she was looking for :3

Long time no see, Sunshine city... No sunshine outside this day, but there was plenty of fun inside!

First we checked out the "Mega" Pokemon center! There were lots of cute Pokemon statues all over the floor. Too bad the line just to enter the shop was longer than we were willing to wait, so we decided to hunt for Pokemon plushies in second hand shops like Book Off, K-books and Surugaya instead. (And we found almost everything we were looking for!

We got Cocoichi curry for lunch~  I got karaage and vegetable curry

We also checked out the new Animate~ It was massive! But it was mostly that the shelves were set up with plenty of space in between, not that they really had more floors or more goods than before. One of the floors had an entire Touken Ranbu corner with cute acrylic stands and goods for ALL the characters (that took up a lot of space =O )

After shopping around we were tired and wanted to sit down for a bit, so we looked up a neko cafe :3 Our favorite one in Ekoda seems to have permanently closed or at least moved to a different place, so we went to Mocha in Ikebukuro, which was right in the area. The pricing system was a bit of a rip-off because you had to pay per 10 minutes, but it was nice relaxing while looking at cats for about half an hour :3

All the cats were so super fluffy. I guess they're not rescues but pedigree cats bred to look pretty and be friendly.

Most of them were chilling in baskets...

Or walking around scrounging for snacks... It was quite crowded though, so most of them seemed to be full.

Mirror cat xD

Loot~ I ended up buying two Tousute DVDs with Umetsu Mizuki as Yamanbagiri Chougi in it. I hadn't been able to find them for download, and at Book-off they were cheaper second-hand than it would cost to rent the archive streams on DMM, so why not?  (When I'm done watching them, I guess I can take them to book-off again if I need to free up space on my shelf ^^; )
