>wwwwww<

Everyone must be enjoying themselves at Nishicon, and I'm just sitting here shaking from the cold and shaking from earthquakes... Seriously, there's way too many of them lately, what's up with that! >w<  There was a pretty big one yesterday evening, and at least two more little ones that night.

And yesterday morning I suddenly woke up with a sore throat out of nowhere... There was nothing wrong with me until last week, so the only reason I can think of is that it's because of breating in cold air at night. So I set out to try and winter-proof my room a little bit more...

I put towels all around the doors, I can't believe it actually fits, but I guess that shows just how big the gaps between the door and frame are. The biggest cause of warmth loss seems to be the huge single-paned windows though, so I tried to cover those up a little as well. I don't feel like buying stuff for isolation if it's just for one winter only, so making do with what I had, so it's now something like this...

It's a futon... ^^;  It's pretty thick and heavy, but not strong enough to stand up by itself, so I clipped it to the curtain rods with clothespins, in a way that it'll be hidden behind the curtains when I close them. I have no idea if or how long that's going to stay up, but I do feel like it's helping a little in keeping some warmth in for now. And, oh well, it's a futon, so it's not like I'm going to get hurt if it happens to fall down on me or something. X'D

It only covers half of the window though... If only I had one more to cover up the other half, that'd probably work a lot better, but that'd mean that I wouldn't be able to go onto the balcony to put out my laundry anymore, so I guess I'll just leave it like this and see. ^^;

I wouldn't really want to miss my view either...  The cold temperatures did bring some clearer air with them, it seems, so I can see the mountains almost every day now, and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. *-*  I really have to restrain myself not to take photos of it every day. XD
