All in all, it had been a good night. Bruce had a very nice date, won the biggest crown of his high school career, received a strategic breakdown on how to fight beings with gravity powers (you never know when that might be useful), and afterwards... Kate checked herself, like she wouldn't have noticed if she'd been eight, or sprouted a tail, or whatever else.
The something was probably more likely to be the yelling from the corridor. Because clearly the best way to find someone who it turned out was not in their own room was to make a hell of a lot of noise and hope they investigated. At whatever time in the morning this was. Too early for most people, was what it was.

Kate shook her head, accepting it. "I stick to destroying my own clothes," she assured him as she pulled it on, untucked her hair and took a preparatory breath.
"It doesn't sound violent." Yet. Julie was influenced by Kate, so it wasn't off the table.

The kid in Julie's arms was less interested in her state of dress, and more in stretching out at her with a chirpily repeated, "Found found fouuuund."
