Room 513, Saturday morning
All in all, it had been a good night. Bruce had a very nice date, won the biggest crown of his high school career, received a strategic breakdown on how to fight beings with gravity powers (you never know when that might be useful), and afterwards... Well, poor Chuck was exiled somewhere but Bruce wasn't alone in the room.
There was one problem with all of this. Bruce was an early riser. And while he was being hopeful, he'd made it through two previous mornings after Prom in Fandom. The first one involved a possible future child of his appearing. The second involved other people turning into children. Really, he had no idea what - if anything - to expect, but it presumably involved children somehow. Maybe all animals became children and attacked or something.
Anyway, he was awake. And he was waiting.
