Room 513, Saturday morning

Mar 24, 2012 12:22

After a good, social night last night, Bruce decided to stay in today and handle some of the more important aspects to his impending departure from Fandom. First was to check the envelope that came from Gotham State University. Not that there was any doubt that he'd get in. Even without his grades, the Wayne name went a very long way, especially in Gotham City.

With that confirmation out of the way, he put together a few long, detailed e-mails. One to Alfred, confirming his return to Gotham shortly after graduation and detailing what he would need for the Manor and the press. He included a few incriminating photos from Rio for Alfred to the press so he could start to build the narrative of the playboy Wayne heir gone wild.

Then there was the e-mail to Lucius Fox, letting him know that the plans for Bruce to step up to head the Wayne Foundation before the end of summer was still on track. While he was trying to sully his good name on the one hand, he knew that a Wayne running things there would be a strong move toward both helping Gotham and keeping himself from ruining his reputation too much.

And after that, a shorter message to Leslie Tompkins to keep her posted as well.

Only a few weeks left. Then this chapter would be over and he'd be able to start moving into the final phase of his preparation for his plan to save Gotham City. If he could maintain this, he'd hit the ground running with that phase.

[OOC: Door and post open, why not?]
