Hey Buffy,

Okay, so, classes are going well. I've made pie, chocolate chip cookies (which of course was oh so hard), and chocolate souffles. I've played with fake email and did internet research on ghosts. I've learned about nature spirits and teleporting and found out my totem animal is a deer which creeps me out for some reason.

I've also been learning a lot about soccer thanks to the World Cup and moving things with my mind thanks to a boy named Anakin. Plus I've been learning how to use a sword which has actually been kinda fun even if it leads to sore arms.

I've also dropped off snacks during the kidnapping and silent sessions of that workshop that I'm not officially taking but who has that teacher I think you'd really like. In fact I made snacks for his final class too.

There's been fun like sock puppet shows, supporting my cheerleader roommate, promising my friend Rory I'd help her with a tranq gun, pancake breakfasts, girly spa days (with BOYS! ZOMG!), and hanging out in the common room with friends.

I've been all kinds of evil-fighting too. I helped that weirdo girl Veronica with research on ghosts which turned into a huge thing where ultimately a bunch of us had to battle and banish this really rude tentacle demon. Plus there were jello dragons. Not with the tentacle demon. Those were at the go kart race.

I found out that that creepy boy Tyler is getting a second chance. I got insulted by Joxer according to other people, but I still say it was a misunderstanding that I hope is not going to result in me needing to hit him with a lamp on Kaylee's behalf. Plus I've been trying to convince the local club owner that Fandom so needs a place with both music and a dance floor but so far no go, in spite of my cunning use of spreadsheets.

But all that's not really what's on my mind at the moment.

My friend Anders broke up with his girlfriend and if you listen to the podcats from this place - not that I'm encouraging you to do that even if you can find them and let's just pretend I never brought it up - the two of them were supposed to be a forever thing. Mind you his girlfriend's name is Veruca so clearly heartbreak and agony were in the cards. But still. It's a little too familiar.

And, okay, sure, there's Peter. Who I like and have been having fun with ( weather notwithstanding). Only I found out he had to go back home which of course entails saying goodbye.

And, okay, not like I didn't know he was a king since, hello, gave him a party about it with lots of prep on what to bring and what music to play and where to go.

Not that I thought anything was going to be easy after Oz. Plus the whole time travel thing brings up interesting issues (plus a job offer that I will NEVER TELL YOU ABOUT).

But boy does it suck to think that all that strength and honor and nobility and kindness that makes me feel so happy and safe when I'm with him is the exact reason why he's not here now, he doesn't know when he'll get back, and no matter what the day's going to come when he can't ever come back. Plus who am I to even try - okay there was going to be a use of a word starting with d and ending with ating but yipes still not ready yet. But there's Willows and kings and as a rule we do not mix! Kings like princesses or girls trapped in towers in the middle of a forest and, okay, that last one's not out of the realm of possibility here in Fandom but that's just my point!

Bet you anything he's going to meet some girl at court who's way prettier than me and knows how to do the thees and thous and gets the curtsey right and you just KNOW she's going to be named VERUCA and I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ICE CREAM TO HELP ME COPE WITH THIS.

Also? I had my final in cooking and we're still not getting graded.

This week sucks.

Tell me happy things?

Willow

PS - Not that I'm getting my hopes up because they are smooshed flatter than grapes under elephants, but assuming Peter does come back can you scoot me some current pictures of Sunnydale and the gang? We promised to be exchangey and my only photo album here still has shots of Oz in it. Thanks!

Will, we have got to get you off of the computer kick because this is not BFF computer talk this is BFF phone in one hand pint of Ben & Jerry's in the other talk. I've got 10 minutes before I can get out of class or the teacher notices that email does not look like notes about Russian history. However:

1) You are awesome.
2) All girls named Veruca suck ahem
3) Boys who cheat deserve pain, even if they're kings.
4) Boys who do not appreciate Willows deserve Mr. Pointy in places on their body that are probably too small to see without use of a microscope, even if they're kings
5) Can send you plenty of pics but the ones of Xander are probably going to be very basementy and Spike-like due to Mr. Chips and Xander still living down there.

Will call as soon as I'm back in my dorm room!

Buffy
