You'd be surprised, too if you were right in the middle of fighting someone who looked like he was about to kick your nerd ass and drag it through a dumpster, but then suddenly you had a big yellow tail like something out of a koi pond, and your opponent's drowning and doing little-mermaid-wants-to-catch-a-sailor impressions.
Gau's currently somewhere near the surface with a probably-not-too-happy NPC, trying to hold him up out of the water so he can breathe. Gillyweed would have been easier of course, but when does the one-track mind ever go for the magical option? Gau'd be out of breath, except he's not exactly breathing "breath" at the moment]
