I'm thinking more along the lines of hand-to-hand, anyway. Maybe some melee weapons, in the "how to use anything you can grab to do some damage and get the hell out of there" sense.

Firearms would be a nightmare with as limited of resources as we have in a place like this.

Just remember that this isn't basic, this is teaching civilians how to avoid becoming splats on the pavement.

I've dealt with a few. And I've kicked a few out of my unit in the past.

I agree. And at this rate we may just be able to set up anyone who wants to learn to defend themselves with some one-on-one instruction, so they'd probably be able to get that much more out of it.

Still in the organizational stages, but Diana's been working on coordinating those of us who are interested into a group that can protect the safety of everyone here, should the need arise.

That would be useful! I can teach hand-to-hand well enough, but my sword skills are nearly non-existent.

It's a solid idea. I'd hate to see it go to waste.

It's still early, so I'm guessing a lot of people haven't had the chance to see it yet. Hopefully we'll get some more.
