Saxophones, Scales, Thriller Dances, and MSU
Okay, I know it's been too long since I've posted a blog. I've been busy. SORRY!!
But anyways, I think the last time I posted a blog, it was during new student days.....wow, almost a month since I posted.
I'm still loving MSU. I'm finding something more I like more about it every day, whether it be something to do with the actual school, or the people here....it's just amazing!
I'm becoming more and more set on becoming a musician. I've now got a good sax to play on, so I'm getting better. Thanks for the sax Curt!!
For those curious, it's a Selmer Series II Tenor Sax....eat your heart out!! lol
I need to practice, or Nikki, my lessons teacher, is going to kill me. I'll get to it, I've even got a schedule and everything made. I'm just REALLY tired at the moment.
Since the last time I posted, I have learned a few key points that I would like to share with you. Here goes....
-Alumni Tower has some really great food.
-If you're classes are in either Lappin Hall or the Burt Combs Building, plan on leaving at least 15 minutes early or you WILL be late.
-The campus police are nicer than you might think.
-Your RA could very well be one of the coolest people on your floor.
-Locking your truck in 4-wheel drives doesn't prevent it from being towed.
-Talking to and getting to know your professors is always a must, since it will help you in class.
-Budget your money, or it will destroy you!
-It's better to use your EagleCard than a pocket full of quarters to wash clothes with.
Darn, I had a whole list of these somewhere....oh well, when I find it, I'll put them on here.
So I think I'm done for now. As soon as I finish watching this video on YouTube, I think I'm going to go to Alumni Tower for some food, then get to sleep in a little while. I have a ball game tomorrow....come and watch it if you can, the half time show is going to be AWESOME!!!! Even though we don't get to do the thriller dance this time....
