My library supervisors nominated me for the LindenLeader Award for exemplary performance in the student worker program. I have a banquet to go on Thursday night. I'm wearing a new dress that I found in Target clearance a few weeks ago. It's a little short, so Saturday night I went to Lane Bryant to buy a pair of capri leggings to wear under it. And they had a hiring sign up!
I turned in my application packet yesterday, and they called back just as I was walking out of my last class. I have an interview this Friday at 2:00! I really hope I get this job. I love Lane Bryant, the clothes are gorgeous, and plus the store is easy to get to and in a wonderful shopping center with lots of places to eat lunch. I've never been on a job interview before, but I think it'll be my chance to shine and show them that I'm excited for this job.
