What's really terrible is that this was my second draft
I found this while cleaning my room today. It's a story I wrote when I was seven years old. I laughed myself to tears reading it.
A Magician
Once there was a boy. He lived with his mom and dad. They lived in New York. The little boy liked to go to magic shows and shops. But when he couldn't he watched them at home. One day his mom and dad took him to see his favorite magician. After the show his mom took him back stage to see him. "Hi" said the boy. "Did you know I have a magic school?" said the magician. "No." said the boy. "Would you like to join" said the magician. Yes. said the boy. Just one more thing said the boy. What's that, asked the magician. Is there snacks said the boy. No said the magician. But there's lunch. That's good enough for me said the boy. So his mom filled out the formes, and his dad came back with a magic kit to take to school. He would start Monday. On Monday they worked on the rules. On Tuesday they worked on pulling a riabbit out of a hat. On Wednesday they worked on the magic links. On Thursday they worked on the scarves. On Friday they worked on card tricks. On the weekends they boy didn't have any classes. But he practiced after dinner. And the schedule went on and on. After three years the boy was ready for the hard tricks. After fifteen years they boy was done. He was ready for shows. As he grew up he got better and better. He was a real magician now.

*HE SPENT FIFTEEN YEARS IN MAGICIAN SCHOOL?
