Happy Thanksgiving!
Don't worry, I'm not ditching family activities to update my blog. We're having a big Thanksgiving get-together at my aunt's tomorrow. Except for a little green bean cassrole we whipped up, we're not even having any Thanksgiving-type food today. I am going to bake an apple pie for tomorrow, though. And not just transfer it from the freezer to the oven, I'm making this from scratch. Well, I'm using a storebought crust because I don't want to get in too over my head, but I'll be making the filling and everything myself. I'm using
this recipe, which is rated 5 out of 5 by over 2000 people, so, even if I do screw it up, it'll probably still be delicious.
So today is a day to make pie, and to watch a bunch of
Thanksgiving-themed Friends episodes. I watched the parades this morning too. My high school marching band was in the one in Chicago, so I recorded that and watched Macy's. Rick-rolling the Foster's Home for Imaginairy Friends float? Awesome. Watched the dog show, too. So cute.
Oh, and I made hand turkeys. I LOVE ME SOME HAND TURKEYS.
You should really zoom in to get the full effect.
No, my wrist is not really that skinny, that's just wonky tracing.
It is Thanksgiving, think I'd better say what I'm thankful for. I could name off a dozen things, but for right now, I'll say that I'm thankful for
Plastic!Winchester Theatre.
