Well. That escalated quickly.
Background: A couple weeks ago, brainiacfive quite logically decided that, since Man of Steel apparently went the "dark and gritty" route with Superman, clearly the only place left for them to go in adding Batman into the mix was for him to be Wacky Adam West Batman.
Fast-forward to a few minutes ago, when...
Me: Twitter is full of Ben Affleck being Batman.
Him: Wait. So Ben Affleck will be Wacky Adam West Batman?
Me: Apparently so. Which, actually, since just about the only character of his I particularly liked was the guy playing Mercutio in Shakespeare in Love... I mean, obviously not in the same way, but he is rather flamboyantly funny. But with snark.
Him: "Reporters upstage, superheroes downstage. Are you a superhero, Mister Kent?"
Me: ... I had not thought that far.
