'Cause We're Living in a Material World...

Mom and I went shopping today! It's been ages since we've got to go shopping, so I had fun. =D

We started out by getting some lunch, 'cause it was about that time. We ate at Cracker Barrel, and we both had breakfast. <3 I love Cracker Barrel's breakfast food. So yummy. So I had a nice, big breakfast.

Then we went to Rural King. Mom needed some bird and squirrel feed. We looked around a bit, and Mom bought a zip-up hoodie. I got a couple of little horse figures; a bay with black points and a dapple gray with black points. They look like Glory and Apollo, so I had to have them. I'm displaying them in one of the little cubby holes in my desk. <3

After that, we went to the mall. We started out in Target; I swear, even on my days off, I end up there! XD I bought a couple of movies; X3: The Last Stand and Darkwing Duck Vol. 1. Plus, we got some food from the grocery section. I got some indian and candy corn. <3 After we finished in Target, Mom went to get her hair cut. Luckily, that didn't take long. Then, we stopped in the Country Gourmet and got some coffee.

Since they didn't have some of the things that I was looking for at Target, we went to Wal-Mart. I got one of those small plastic sets of drawers, like you'd put on your desk. I needed something to keep my jewelry in, and that's just the right size. It's funny; I used to never wear jewelry, yet now I've collected a fair number of necklaces and those silicone bracelets. ^^;;

After Wal-Mart, we went to Sam's. We got many nice things to eat, like that white cheddar popcorn that I love. <3 I also found a red zip-up hoodie; I'd been looking for one at all the places we'd been so far. I need it for work, 'cause we have to wear red. =P And I got a copy of Lady and the Tramp on DVD. I swear...I'm on a nostalgia kick. Today I bought Darkwing Duck and Lady and the Tramp, and yesterday I bought the Little Mermaid. ^^;; My inner child has apparently decided to make herself known.

I also managed to get a jewelry box; as in, a small case to hold jewelry when it's given as a gift. I got the necklace that I'd ordered on eBay today, and it didn't come with a box, so I wanted something to put it in. And it's a cool necklace, too! It's a round pendant with Roy's fire array on it. The pendant is red, ringed in gold, with the array embossed in gold. Very pretty. <3 Yes, I'm a hopeless Hagaren fangirl, and my jewelry very much reflects this fact! =D

After Sam's, we stopped and got some drinks at Sonic. (Sweetened peach tea = yum!) Then, to Fazoli's for some dinner. So, all in all, a very nice day.

Plus, I finally picked up a copy of the FMA movie yesterday. I haven't had time to watch it yet, though. But, it means that my FMA anime collection is now complete! I own the entire series, both on HK and R1 disks. <3 Me, fangirl? Damn right. =D

So, now I'm just waiting 'til it's time to watch Gray's Anatomy at 8:00. I think I'll play a little Mahjong. <3
