Vegas was pretty good. City Center is really amazing, and it's not even finished yet. The Veer Towers alone are spectacular. The Aria is NOT a hotel for the common throng -- the only reason we stayed there is Mom gets comps; otherwise, it's gigantically out of any normal person's price range (although to be honest, the rooms are fairly normal

I loved that fountain! The lights beneath each vortex changed colors, too.

City Center is pretty danged amazing. They tore out everything that used to be between Bellagio and Monte Carlo and tucked it in that entire city block -- with a tram running through and everything. There's more high-rise condos, hotels, and shopping than you can shake a stick at.

She's a smallish whale. She loves them slots! (And even has a bit of a system -- I played for hours on the same $40 on a quarter machine; no big wins, but a LOT of points for her.)

Hi! Sorry to randomly comment but the blog came up in one of my Google alerts... If you have any trouble finding the two Michael Nesmith MP3's, I have a copy of both if you would like them. They may not be as great quality as the ones you originally had but they might be OK in the mean time.

Oh, thank you! I did, however, find my original tapes (as I said, I knew I kept these things for a reason!). (To be honest, I'll never forgive the owner of that 45 for not selling it to me -- I offered him a hundred bucks, and I know he found it for a dime in an antique store...)

Yeah, I listened the to samples of Kane's ep and was "meh." Another friend has been raving, and I was having second thoughts. Now I'm back to "meh."

I was so excited about it, I thought maybe I simply let down because it's not as good as "Kane." But it really is... just... mainstream. *sigh*
