So we watched Walk the Line yesterday, it was okay-ish. Now we're watching A History of Violence... my only thought at the moment is, "when are we going to move from middle-aged Viggo getting driven to work by his wife, to the shooting?" Oh look, here it comes! Yay!
back.
It should be noted that this movie's soundtrack borrows liberally (and by that I mean "copies") whole sections of music--huge sections of music and themes of music--from the various Lord of the Rings movies. It's very disconcerting. Freaking a' there it went again!
OMG! SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHERE THE SHOTGUN IS?!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT A FECKING MORON!!!!!!! YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHERE THE GUN AND SHELLS ARE!!!!!!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE WOMAN YOU HAVE CHILDREN, HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT KNOW WHERE THE DAMN GUN IS?!?!?!?!?!
Right. A History of Violence is crap. Don't see it.
Oh for goodness... now the mother left her kid alone... in a department store... and the kid wanders off... and now the villian is "watching over" the kid as she stares at a toy.
1) slap that child silly
2) pull out the Glock you should've purchased by now, rather than the f'ing shoes you're looking at and
3) SHOOT THE BASTARD
Eugh. Pathetic movie, disgusting, disgraceful.
Yeah, we turned it off.
