almost made it to 10:00 today! kudos to me!
so, work today is boring like every other day, but at least it's going by fast.
let's see, i will tell you about last night i suppose. i got off work, went home showered and i even straightened my hair because we had a ladies night out. i have been doing a lot of that lately. i am just really lucky to have such a sweet roommate and pardue here with me. the three of us get along so well, which, most girls will agree, is rare. so, i spent a little money, but i think it's the first time that i spent anything on me since leave, and as a janitor for the navy, i think i deserved it.
the night started at sunday's, the tanning salon. my skin is starting to turn a pretty bronze now. being tan makes me feel sexy. since we were all feeling so damn sexy we went to the mall got our eyebrows done, manicures and pedicures. hey, we deserved the special treatment for one night. we each bought an outfit and i believe we all looked downright hot in the new clothes. yes, i am being cocky, but hey when you've got it, flaunt it. right? the outfit i purchased is a special, "pick mattie up from the airport" outfit. i tried it all on when i got home and i walked out of my room and the cat calls began. of course, it was mostly my friends messing with me since all they usually see me in is my uniform or sweats. yes, i said sweats! i like to be comfortable! :) so, i am feeling pretty confident that matthew will like the new clothes. i will tell you what it looks like after he sees it, i don't want him to see this and give the suprise away! :)
then i laid down to go to bed at like 2200. but the way my room is these days, there was no way in hell that any of my neighbors were gonna actually let me sleep. so we put in a movie, sweet home alabama, cute little chick flick! :)
then i was finally going to get to go to be about midnight and matt called and said that he couldn't sleep. he needed me to tell him a bedtime story. i told him to give me a scene to start with...he put me in a carrot garden in a village. ha ha, i just think that was funny. so instead i told him that i couldn't wait to see him and i flooded his ears with cute little nothings about getting to hang out and watch movies all weekend until he got sick of hearing it and told me he was going to sleep! WHEW! glad i got out of that one! :)
anyway, that's about all the exciting news i have for now! tomorrow night, he will be here.
