My First Week of School (a couple of days delayed)
So there was no school today seeing as it was Labor day but I will still do some homework tonight so I don't get too far behind. And since I don't have school tomorrow I will also work on it tomorrow, this will give me an excuse not to clean. I guess that doesn't really matter since my mom cleaned a lot today while the rest of us went to the movies.
Anyway...school....
My first week was ok, so far no real complaints aka tons of homework or such. Just maybe in Spanish.
COLLEGE ALGEBRA - BEMANI - What to say about this class? Well first off, it's 2 hours long. I guess it's not too bad since math is not my best subject but numbers for that long is killing me. The best thing about this class is that because it's 2 hours long we don't have to do the Mathlabs, instead we have to turn our homework in, which I don't mind. My teacher seems nice and involved with the students but she's very busy. She'll ask if everyone understands and then moves on before anyone can really answer not that anyone would. But I like her.
U.S. HISTORY - BOESTLMANN (I think) - I already dislike her. She's one of those teachers where if you don't like what she likes you're already screwed. She says as much. But she is also super funny. I mean I know she is, I can appreciate humor but I can't find it in me to laugh. And I have no clue why because I know she is funny. She also says her tests are super hard so it would be wise to do the extra credit. The extra credit consists of trips to three museums, voting, three races and oral assignments. A lot of exra credit but also a lot of outside classwork. The thing that bothers me the most is that she told us we didn't really need to get the book because all the stuff is on the powerpoints but then in class she wanted us to read over a subject that wasn't on a powerpoint but in the book. However she said we can just look it up on the internet. WTF??
BEGINNING SPANISH - GOUSSAK - She seems nice for a Ukrainian women raised in Cuba who knows six languages. SHE LOVES THE WORLD. Her words and sometimes she acts high. She repeats a lot, which is good because I remembering better but then when she goes up to the board to write down what we learned she confuses me. IDK, maybe it will get better. I can't believe this class is a whole hour longer too!!! It so did not say that on my schedule. SO I don't get out at 2:15 like I originally thought but in fact 3:20. Eek.
Moving on....
Because I have no restraint of will whatsoever, I went ahead and purchased Arashi Around Asia Limited Edition. Not the new one not yet out but the older one. I had to get the Limited Edition because of the 3rd DVD containing 120 minutes of live footage including La Tormenta and I Want Somebody. I also really want to see the solos (minus Jun-Kun's because it scares me) and the behind the scenes footage. It will be here by Thursday and I cannot wait.
