the department of lost & found
In the interest of keeping up, I've had both my annual eye check and semi annual dental cleaning this week. As for my eye check, it went as well as can be expected though always slightly worse. As you all know I'm a voracious reader and I've already noticed it myself -- the constant adjusting of the glasses and the distance. I will be in bifocals before too long. Damn you, age! As for the dental exam, as well as can be expected. I've been hard on them, too, in recent years with the extra grinding.
However, it's a Friday which I've very happy about though I wish it were also a payday because my checkbook is currently running on fumes. Greg is due over soon and I will make beef fajitas and then we will watch something and go to sleep as is per usual on a Friday night. I hope it turns out because my cooking has been mediocre at best lately. There are two kids birthday parties this weekend so really that's all that's up. That and the gym.
